Last Sunday the church members approved a 2020 Spending Plan (budget) that is 7% higher than last year.
In 2019 the church family gave generously and we were able to meet the Spending Plan we set out for 2019 with a small surplus. We are all thankful that together each person gave.
For 2020, we have increased spending on our youth programs, increased salaries to reflect 1.9% inflation , established a new nursery worker position and increased our allotment for repair of the Church & Frontlines buildings.
What does this mean for each one of us? Early in the year, each one of us is encouraged to set a Personal Giving Goal. Our Goal reflects how much we want to give each week to the ministry at Weston Park. Our Goal is Personal; between God and ourselves. When we all set a Giving Goal the ministry at Weston Park moves forward.
What does that look like?
Church envelopes and Direct Deposit are useful tools that help each person maintain their Giving Goal.
