Matthew 8:5-13

In this story Jesus sets aside all the potential barriers that could keep him from talking to this man, and helping him – his nationality, official status, his religion. And in verse 10 we are told Jesus “heard” the man’s story and was “amazed” at his faith.

What are potential barriers that Jesus would be willing to look past today to listen and understand others – nationality/status/religion …maybe generation/popularity/attire/other? What do they look like in “your world”?
