The psalmist invites us to join our voices in 'hallelujah' to the Creator and Saviour of all the earth. He is to be praised for both his transcendent luminescence and his compassionate presence in our day to day journey of faith. Indeed, praise is to flow from 'the bottom up' – that is, it is to be a steady outpouring of adoration "from the rising of the sun to its setting", in all places and times.
