The parable of the wheat and the darnel speaks of God’s compassionate, patient heart. One who seeks that all will turn to his invitation of love. God yearns that we will turn to him and graciously takes up a ‘long view’ of our lives giving us every opportunity to rejoice in his compassionate and enlivening love.
