The Christian faith is to be an active faith (not 'dry as dust' as Martin Luther King bemoaned) where faith and works go together to ameliorate the social injustice that so often characterizes our world. As we pursue 'the path where the good way lies' the shalom of God is manifested and his kingdom on earth is more fully realized.
