Tom grew up in a Christian home and was active in church and youth ministries. After a rugby injury led him to reevaluate his priorities, he committed his life to Christ. He graduated with honours in Psychology from York University but felt a calling to ministry. This led Tom to pursue his Master of Divinity. Tom has served marginalized communities as a pastor and volunteer, focusing on youth outreach and discipleship.
