A Prayer from the Depths

Having been thrown into the sea, God provides a great fish to save Jonah.  As a result Jonah lifts up his voice in prayer to renew his vows before God.  As such the text becomes a prayer for all who are experiencing the trials of life and are at the point of ‘going under’.
