Jesus moves beyond the boundary line of Israel and travels into foreign territory where he ministers to two different individuals. The first being a Greek woman with a sick child and the second a deaf man living in the Gentile community of the Decapolis cities. In both cases Jesus responds to the unique needs of the two individuals even as he ministers to our specific needs if we have open and receptive hearts. Whatever boundary lines characterize our lives will be traversed as we say 'yes' to Jesus and travel with him in humility and grace.
