The challenge we face is to be truly conscious of our interior world (& needs) while we are inundated with external stimulate. The distractions of our day to day living press our interior longings to the back of our minds. As such we need to hear the truth of the Gospel that Jesus travels with us in the midst of our everyday and offers us a shalom which is deeper than our daily concerns.
