As a Beethoven symphony ends with a majestic celebration of joyous wonder so Paul concludes his argument in Romans 8 with the glorious declaration, “If God is for us who can be against us”! He announces that God is on our side and nothing can reverse the tide of His all encompassing affection for all of His sons and daughters. We are loved! We are secure in His hands! Therefore let us rejoice and go forward with optimistic spirits and unrelenting devotion in the service of our God.
