Greetings Church Family,
This Saturday Marc Geldart, Steve Lucas, Rob Parsons, & Samuel Reno from Weston Park along with Abby & Bruce Davidson, Sarah Benson, Yoli Mabangla, & Monica Smith from Blythwood Baptist are travelling to Bolivia to participate in an ongoing mission work through Canadian Baptist Missions (CBM).
We will be working with the following ministries:
- Casa de la Amistad – A ministry to children with a parent in jail. Children of prisoners often live in the prisons with their mother or father. We will run day programs for them.
- Chagas Prevention – Putting plaster on floors, walls and ceilings of homes to prevent the bug that carries the Chagas disease from biting family members. The disease is fatal if left untreated.
- Teaching English to Seminary students at the Baptist Theological Seminary.

Prayers of encouragement and excitement as we journey through the various places over the next 2 weeks.- Prayers for safe travel and accommodations while we are there.
- Please pray that people will see the love of Jesus through us and will be touched in some way.
- And pray that this trip makes an impact in the lives of the people of Bolivia and the Mission Team.
