Someone has said that we face two fundamental challenges in the Christian life:
i. God is invisible
ii. God seems distant
As a result, we can struggle with our connection with God. Yet, it is in this tension of faith (belief and unbelief) that we grow in our spiritual journey. In it we experience the paradox of choosing life over death, happiness amidst the tears, joy amidst the suffering, and revelation amidst the mystery.
