Jesus concludes the middle section of the Upper Room Discourse (John chapters 15-16) with the profound truths that we are ‘loved’ by the Father himself and that Jesus passes on to us the ‘peace’ that he himself carries. In light of these affirmations we are called to go forth in ‘courage’ knowing that the Divine Family travels with us in every station and stage of our earthly pilgrimage.
