In this final section of Jesus' high priestly prayer there is a concern for the wellbeing of future generations of believers. It is an optimistic perspective that envisions a mutual indwelling between the Father, the Son and followers of Christ. It is this mutual indwelling that we share in that becomes the source for our unity, hope, and mission to the world.
