The prophet Isaiah reminds us that God is constantly inviting us to respond to his love and affection. Instead we often turn away and spend our time and energy on secondary matters. Rather than eating the bread of God that truly satisfies, we consume the world's "junk foods" that leave us unhappy and unsatisfied. May we hear afresh God's call to life and open the door of our hearts to his enlivening presence.
