A wise person once mused that 'God has no grandchildren'. Quite true! Our relationship with God must be direct! Immediate! No intermediaries! We all must work out our own salvation (as Paul reminds us). The writer of Proverbs believes the same thing but puts it this way: "Come, eat of my bread, and drink of the wine I have mixed. Lay aside immaturity, and live, and walk in the way of insight." (Proverbs 9:5-6). We must all choose to walk in the way of insight. No one else can do it for us. It is a personal decision and choice. Let's be "choosers"; not "non-choosers" and walk in the way of life.
