In John 17 we overhear the mystical prayer of Jesus in which he prays for the well-being of his disciples. Jesus prays that the Father will protect & empower them for the ongoing mission of the Kingdom of God. Jesus’ prayer reminds us that our efforts for God’s Kingdom are important and flow out of our participation in the movements of the Divine Family, Father – Son – Holy Spirit.
