The Easter story raises the question of what is the true identity of Jesus? Will we believe that Jesus is instrumental in the establishment of God’s kingdom and will we trust our lives to his care? The Gospel writer, Mark, continues to pose this question in the story of Jesus’ authority over the wind & waves. The good news on this Easter Sunday is that even as Jesus calmed the storm on the Sea of Galilee so he will calm our interior storms and lead us into life eternal.
